The board of directors, based on input from various owners, has established the new rules for sunshades/sunscreens and replaces the current regulations dated 18 March 1999. These rules will go into effect 1 May 2012 and will remain in effect until superseded.

1.             Sunscreens/Sunshades will be of a reed type or mesh, PVC or polyethylene type fabric, in either ‘white or beige in color.

2.             Sunscreens/Sunshades may be hung to block the sun but must be rolled up when not in use so as not to create an enclosed space.

3.             No sheets or other means of blocking the sun are permitted. The intention is to keep the complex uniform and acceptable to all owners.

4.             Bamboo and wood type reed shades that are not white or beige are grandfathered and may continue to be used if they are currently in place and in good condition. When they become unsightly and need to be replaced, the new color and type must be used as specified in item #1.
